FLUX
A group for text-to-image generation with strong detail and artistic quality; there is an editing mode (Kontext).
Open in studio →What it can do
- ✓Text-to-image: photorealism, illustrations, art, detailed scenes.
- ✓Image editing (Kontext modes): changing and refining an uploaded picture by description.
- ✓Good anatomy and composition, clean details.
- ✓Understands detailed artistic descriptions (material, lens, lighting).
How to write a prompt
Be specific: subject → environment → style → lighting → angle. For the Kontext mode, attach a photo and describe only the changes. Artistic details (material, lighting, lens type) noticeably improve the result.
A prompt that works
An atmospheric portrait of an old fisherman by the sea, weathered face, soft overcast light, film aesthetic, medium shot
Avoid this
“a good photo”
Too general: no subject, light or style. The model will make things up at random. Give specifics: who, where, what light, what lens.
Examples
Artistic shot
A misty morning in the mountains, a lone tree on a cliff, soft diffused light, minimalism, high detail
Editing (Kontext)
(attach a photo) Change the time of day to sunset, keep the composition and objects
Variants within the group
- Flux 2 / 1.1 / .1 generations, Newer generations, better detail and prompt following.
- Kontext modes, For editing and refining an uploaded image by description.
Tips
- →Specify the type of light and the lens. FLUX handles this well.
- →For Kontext, use a sharp source image.
