What Workflow in Pixyn Is and Why You Need It
A visual no-code builder of AI pipelines: connect nodes and get automated generation. The concept and the first tasks explained.
TL;DR
- Workflow is a visual editor on a canvas where you connect nodes (prompt → image gen → video gen → output) into an automatic chain.
- It works in the web version of Pixyn at /studio/workflow.
- You build the scheme once and generate dozens, hundreds, thousands of results from it without repeated "clicking".
- It suits people who make more than 10 to 20 generations a day with the same structure.
The idea in one picture
The usual mode:
- You open a chat
- You write a prompt
- You wait
- If you need a video, you copy the result into another model
- You write another prompt
- You repeat it 50 times
Workflow:
- You build a scheme:
[Prompt] → [Image Gen Flux] → [Video Gen Kling] → [Output] - You run it
- You change the prompt and run it again
The scheme is a reusable template.
Which nodes there are
In the palette:
- Prompt node: a text prompt
- Image source node: an image source (for i2i / i2v)
- Image gen node: image generation, connects to any image model
- Video gen node: video generation with a duration setting
- Output node: the final point, with results in the "Generations" side panel
Connections are validated: the editor cuts off an invalid link.
Why you need it
1. Repeatability
One scheme gives the same result with different input data.
2. Scalability
Today 10 cards, tomorrow 200: the scheme is the same.
3. Model composition
[Flux for the frame](https://pixyn.ai/knowledge/flux) → [Kling for animation](https://pixyn.ai/knowledge/kling) → to the output. In one pass.
4. Templates
A ready Workflow is an artifact you can share. An agency set up a pipeline and passes it to a freelancer.
Who needs it
- Content studios and SMM agencies: dozens of creatives a day
- Marketplace sellers: hundreds of SKUs
- Realtors: home staging
- Bloggers and YouTube creators: serial generation of covers and Reels
- Developers: prototyping
How it connects to the rest of the platform
- Studio: "one model, one chat"
- Neuro photoshoot: ready one-step templates
- Workflow: a chain of steps you build yourself
You start with the Studio, then the Neuro photoshoot, and when the task becomes regular, you move to Workflow.
How it differs from competitors
On the market: ComfyUI (open source), n8n, Make.com. What sets Pixyn apart:
- Works without a GPU (cloud models)
- Needs no installation (web)
ComfyUI is more powerful in local modes but requires a GPU. Pixyn Workflow is a production-ready cloud solution.
What it costs in tokens
FLUX from 2 tokens per image; Seedance from 20 tokens per clip. Workflow takes no separate fee: the cost of each node is charged by its model.
The studio shows the exact charge before the run: check against it rather than the article, because the catalog gets updated. Pack contents are on the pricing page.
How to tell that a task is ready for a workflow
There is exactly one sign: you do the same sequence by hand and already know every step of it by heart. While the order of actions changes from time to time, it is too early to build a scheme: you will rebuild it more often than run it.
A practical guide by steps:
- Do the chain by hand three times. If on the third time you never deviated from the order, it is ready to be built.
- Write down where you make a decision. Each such place either moves to the start (you chose in advance) or stays a manual step. Nodes do not think for you.
- Build a short version. Two or three nodes, not the whole dream at once: this way it is cheaper to find out that the model at the first step gives the wrong thing.
- Run it on a bad source. A scheme that works only on a perfect frame is useless in real work.
- Lock it in and share it. You can hand a ready chain to a colleague, and they will run it without digging into the settings.
The savings come not on the first run but roughly from the third: the first goes to building, the second to fixing, and only after that the chain starts returning time.
FAQ
Do I need to know programming? No. Drag and drop and forms.
Are pipelines saved? Yes, automatically.
Can I share a scheme? Yes. The "Share" button gives a link. Or export to JSON.
Can I import someone else's scheme? Yes, by link or JSON.
How many nodes can I place? There is no limit. In practice, 5 to 20 nodes.
Is it paid? Workflow is included in the CORE, PREMIUM and MAX plans, with no separate fee: you pay for the generations of the nodes.
Summary
Workflow is a tool for "producers", not "experimenters". When a task repeats, the scheme pays off on the first run.

Where to start
Workflow is easier to build once than to read about. Take the most boring chain that you do by hand every week and build it with nodes: after that it runs in one click. Create an account.
